Cornerston Immigration provides a wide range of personalized immigration consulting and representation services for all visa types and immigration categories. Cornerston Immigration works with clients in nearly any country around the world to help them come to, or stay in Canada through immigration pathways such as study permits, work permits, Post Graduate Work Permits, and more.

We started our work with a complete site audit to determine the current standing of Cornerston Immigration’s website and search traffic. What we found was that Cornerston Immigration only had two backlinks pointed to their site, was only organically ranking for 10 keywords, and most importantly was not receiving any monthly traffic. We also identified multiple site issues in addition to meta descriptions and titles not being optimized where pages were without H1 headers, pages were broken without any re-directs in place, and content was unorganized across the website.

Meta descriptions were manually added to each page, page titles were optimized to improve search engine readability, broken links were fixed with re-directs added and website content was adjusted to not only improve user experience but increase site readability. The back-end of the website was cleaned up by removing any unnecessary or outdated SEO plugins and instead installed SEO Smartcrawl which allowed for additional optimization through content audits, re-directs, and website schema. 

Once the immediate site issues were resolved, Vigilante Marketing began increasing the number of backlinks that were directed to the website, helping search engines to consider the Cornerston Immigration website as a high-quality site. Vigilante Marketing began creating profiles on websites that would link back to Cornerston Immigration, including local directories and immigration websites. New blogs were added that helped to increase the number of organic keywords that Cornerston Immigration was ranking for but were also used for backlinking purposes and additional links back to the website.

Vigilante Marketing launched a global Google Ads PPC campaign targeting the locations Cornerston Immigration received the most qualified leads. In addition to setting up the ads campaign, keyword research, and developing a landing page that aligned with what users were searching for Vigilante Marketing also created a pop-up on the site encouraging users to submit a form to receive more information on coming to, or staying in Canada. 

In the first 30 days of the new Google Ads campaign, Cornerston Immigration generated over 117 conversions of users completing a form. Cornerston could not effectively manage this increase in form submissions with their existing sales processes, so Vigilante Marketing developed an automated marketing email campaign to improve follow-up.
