Based out of Australia, Jacq Hackett Consulting Pty Ltd has provided consulting services to NSW public health agencies since 2000.

Under the umbrella “Public Sector Consulting,” Jacq provides training, support, and mentoring to public sector consultants who have recently started their business or people on the cusp of making a move.

Jacq has a depth of understanding of the healthcare operating environment, government systems and processes, and the sector’s people, passion, and politics. She has an extensive portfolio of consulting projects under her belt and has worked on complex system challenges in major hospitals, community health settings, health bureaucracies, and the not-for-profit health sector.

The Challenge

what they needed

Jacq Hackett came to us after being referred by Danielle Grant. A mindset mentor for entrepreneurs based out of the coLab in Kelowna, BC. Jacq was interested in finding a way to bring all of her courses, landing pages, and consulting services under one roof onto a site with e-commerce capabilities. They had previously been spread over many companies and brands.

how we tackled it

We began by working with Jacq to develop a way to incorporate her multiple business factions into one cohesive website under one major brand. Once we were able to establish a solid brand direction, our designer, Tina Raposo, began the process of creating a design to unify the Public Sector Consulting courses with Jacq’s 1-on-1 consulting services.

Pulling elements such as the green cube from Jacq’s consulting book, Tina created a modern, professional design that utilized muted earth tones and geometric motifs throughout each site page. All while keeping Jacq and her career accomplishments front and center. Ensuring users feel validated in purchasing courses or mentorship services from a trusted source.

Our developer, Peter Vigilante, built the site using the WordPress platform. In addition, he utilized the WooCommerce plugin for the e-commerce sections and the Sensei plugin for the Public Sector Consulting courses. Thus, creating a one-stop-shop website where users can do everything from booking a mentorship call with Jacq to purchasing her book to enrolling in one of her many courses.
