Brian majored in Recording Industry Management at Middle Tennessee State University. Worked at A&R and Marketing for a small indie label in Nashville until leaving to pursue a music career of his own. He toured around the southern US for a number of years in various rock and roll bands, and then toured nationally for a couple of years in a rock opera based on the Megaman video game in a band called The Protomen. Brian fell in love with the Pacific Northwest during this time and had an opportunity to move to Kelowna. He got into programming while learning how to integrate audio into video games, and that led him to web development.
