The Challenge
what they needed
Joyce, owner of Capital Velocity Group, did not have a previous site and needed a refreshed, professional and contemporary look. We recommended that the content reflect a fun, straight-shooting tone with a bit of pop, which showed off her genuine personality. In addition, the site needed content and design elements to display and highlight her offerings: Rolodex, Digital Marketing, and Branding and Storytelling. Her goal was clearly written content that highlighted client services and strengths.
how we tackled it
The intention of the Capital Velocity Group website creation was to offer a fresh new look and feel that communicated their brand messaging, expertise, and what sets them apart from the competition.
With a solid knowledge of the brand, the design and copy team members from Emily Chow Marketing were able to craft new pages showcasing the company’s offerings and updated information. The website is simple and clean, making it easy on the eyes while providing clients with an intuitive way to find what they need quickly. The designer used a blue and gray color scheme and gold accents to keep things looking modern and contemporary. In addition, the content emphasizes high-level information about the firm, making it easier for clients to quickly absorb what they need to know without reading too much or simply “skimming.”
Vigilante Marketing’s development team, David Fenoulhet and Peter Vigilante, built the site on the WordPress platform, which features a custom homepage layout and blog category page design. In addition, custom CSS animation was used to bring the client’s decal designs to life, and custom post types were created so the client can easily add new content as needed.
