Advantage Jiu-Jitsu Academy is a community of people who train, teach and grow together. They intend to provide an atmosphere that encourages all members to achieve their individual goals through the collective effort of their extended family. They are here to learn a beautiful martial art and to have fun!
The client’s previous website was quite basic and did not feature their coaches or programs very well. It was also challenging to manage the various booking calendars that needed to be separated for each program and coach. Overall, it didn’t provide a cohesive and functional user experience.
Laura Rosset from Laura Grace Design Co. tackled designing this site from scratch. She chose colours that would best represent their brand identity and created elements based on the information their users need to access and how they will flow through the website.
Once Laura completed her design, VM’s lead developer Peter Vigilante built the website on Vigilante Marketing’s WordPress environment. The new site streamlines the management of program bookings and gives every program and coach their landing pages to help feature them individually in digital marketing and to help drive traffic to specific programs and coaches. Its functionality is relatively straightforward with some 3rd-party integrations such as an Instagram Widget, OnceHub booking integration, and connection to Constant Contact.
