Since 1990, Stenberg College has given students the tools and education they need to succeed in the healthcare and human services industries. Their main campus is located in Surrey, British Columbia, a suburb of the beautiful City of Vancouver. They are accredited by the B.C. government’s Ministry of Advanced Education through the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB). In addition, they have received the B.C. government’s Education Quality Assurance (EQA) designation and are authorized by EduCanada, the official Government of Canada resource for international students. They offer fantastic opportunities for international students to come to Canada to study. Most of their programs provide post-graduation pathway credits to the British Columbia Institute of Technology and Yorkville University.

what they needed

After Vigilante Marketing, Emily Chow Marketing, and Brandzuzu teams completed the design and development of the Stenberg International website, Stenberg College decided they needed to update their domestic site to ensure continuity. Additionally, they wanted a seamless transition between the two websites. Finally, guaranteeing that no matter where a potential graduated landed, Stenberg College could promote all of the programs and services they offer.

Utilizing the design template from the Stenberg International site, Tina from Brandzuzu was able to stylize the Stenberg Domestic online presence in a way that ensured the two websites complemented one another. Within her design, she chose to use a bright and cheerful color palette with softer tones to guarantee that users can tell the difference between the two websites. In addition, she was able to pull in the identical moving motifs from the international site to showcase the continuity between the two factions of the college.

While our teams kept many of the sections within the website similar to the Stenberg International layout, we did make one distinct change. We updated the program selector to facilitate the more significant number of courses offered and separated by industry. The Vigilante Marketing development team achieved this by using the MegaMenu feature provided within the Impreza theme on the WordPress platform.

With the assistance of Brandzuzu and Emily Chow Marketing, we were able to deliver a new and improved Stenberg Domestic College website. Thus, tying the international and domestic divisions into one cohesive online presence.

Since taking over the management of Stenberg College’s SEO efforts, the VM marketing team has increased their clicks and impressions by more than 235%, as well as moving their average position up by four spots. In addition, Stenberg’s users have increased by 17%, with sessions being 14.7% higher than when we first took over.

This was accomplished by managing meta tags and descriptions, broken links, as well as headers on both their domestic and international sites. Latifa Ibrahim managed all title tags on images throughout both sites, too, and she is also diligent at disavowing toxic links that link to Stenberg College.
