The Challenge
what they needed
Despite their excellent reputation for quality and service, Passionate Blooms had been struggling with an outdated website that had not been updated in eight years. Many of the site’s features were no longer supported by the original developers, causing backend glitches, order issues, and bloated use of plugins. Additionally, the site’s theme was inflexible and did not allow for easy customization without needing to be completely re-coded by hand.
Passionate Blooms recognized that they needed a new website that would better showcase their products and services, as well as make it easier for customers to place orders and get in touch with the company. They turned to Vigilante Marketing for help.
how we tackled it
Vigilante Marketing started by conducting a thorough analysis of the existing website, identifying the areas that needed improvement and the opportunities for optimization. Designer and Developer Tina Raposo then worked closely with Passionate Blooms to develop a new website that would address these issues while staying true to the company’s brand and aesthetic.
To modernize and secure Passionate Blooms’ website, Vigilante Marketing decided to move it onto a more updated and secure setup. They used an Impreza template as the foundation for the new site. The Impreza template provided a more modern and flexible framework that would allow for easier customization and updates moving forward.
Another challenge the VM team ran involved tweaking the template’s header and footer to match the style of Passionate Blooms’ existing branding and design, as well as adjusting the sections to fit the original content and imagery. Tina also worked to create and incorporate a new unique button style, as well as other custom features, into the new template to ensure a consistent user experience.
