Apera AI website rebuild by Vigilante Marketing

who they are

Apera AI

Apera AI is a Vancouver robotics software company whose AI-powered 4D Vision gives industrial robots human-like sight, so manufacturers can automate bin picking, assembly, machine tending and sorting with fast, reliable results. Their Vue vision software, Forge training and simulation platform and VuePod bin picking cell are used by automotive suppliers and manufacturers.

Vigilante Marketing rebuilt apera.ai on Impreza, set it up so their team can manage it on their own with AI support, and maintains the site.

The Challenge

What They Needed

Apera AI builds the AI-powered 4D Vision software that lets industrial robots pick, place and assemble parts reliably. Over the years their website had grown into a custom theme with dozens of page modules, a second page builder for newer pages, and English and Spanish versions of most of the site.

The site worked, but it had become slow to change and fragile to edit. They wanted it rebuilt on a modern, maintainable platform without losing the look, the content or the search rankings they had built up.

Apera’s marketing team publishes constantly: articles, videos, webinars, case studies, product launches and job postings. Too many of those changes meant working around old templates or asking a developer for help.

They needed a site their own team could run day to day, with clear training, and one that was ready for the next step: letting AI tools like Claude help them build and update pages.

A Faithful Rebuild, Page for Page

We rebuilt apera.ai on the Impreza theme, converting every page, product, application, case study and article from the old custom theme and Elementor, in English and Spanish. Rather than retyping content, we wrote conversion tools that mapped each of the old page modules to Impreza layouts, so nothing was lost along the way.

Every URL stayed the same, existing redirects moved across, and each page kept its SEO title and description. Before launch we checked every page on desktop and mobile against the old site, including Apera’s scroll-driven feature sections and HubSpot forms.

Lists That Update Themselves

Leadership, Careers, Certified Partners and customer testimonials now run on their own content types. Add a new leader, job, partner or customer quote and it appears in the right place, styled to match, with no page editing required.

Page title areas work the same way: each page’s banner pulls in its featured image and title automatically, with optional fields for a custom headline, intro and button. We also retired old, unused content types so the dashboard only shows what the team actually uses.

Ready for Search, AI and the Team

We moved the site’s SEO from Yoast to SmartCrawl, then reviewed every page’s title, description and heading structure and fixed what needed it. Apera’s team can also connect Claude to the site through Impreza’s built-in AI assistant to draft and edit pages using their own design system.

We wrote a screenshot-illustrated training guide and walked the team through it. On launch day we moved the site live, added Google Tag Manager, checked every page, and got security scans, image optimization and our maintenance tools running smoothly on their hosting.

The Result?

Apera AI now has a fast, consistent website that looks like the one their customers know, in both languages, without the baggage. Their team can publish, update and expand it on their own, with AI on hand to help, and the site is set up to grow with them.
